At the beginning there was only cold and heat - there was nothing but a bottomless abyss called GINUNGAGAP. On the north side there was empire Niflheim - the world of dark fog, ice and freezing cold on the south side Muspelheim, the world of hot flames and red-colored glow. When the heat began to affect the mass of ice in this bottomless void it sparked the first sign of life. From the drops of melted ice a first creature stood - a giant Ymli, the patriarch of cold giants. Along with Ymli there was AUDHUMLA the first cow extraordinary endowed with milk which fed gient Ymli. AUDHUMLA began to lick the salty stone which caused creation of BURI the forefather of all ASU - Audhumlait actually gave life to whole generation of Nordic giatns. Ymli contributed, created the generation of giants by having children himself. Ymli, fed from Audhumly's milk was mostly sleeping while from his body constantly new - trolls, giants leaping out. It seemed that the whole world will be filled by all these giatns. Odin and his brothers felt threatened by the amount of trolls, and therefore decided to kill Ymli destroy the rest of his lineage. After a great war only one of the troll with his wife was saved, who became grandparents of a new generation of giants whose members were enemies of the Nordic giants. From the Ymli's body gods created Nine worlds, which are supported by the tree called Yggdrasil. Upper world is Asgard, the kingdom of Asu the divine warriors.
